COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAM
Before You Register:
Please note that all new swim team participants are subject to an evaluation during their first practice. Our experienced coaches will carefully evaluate each new swimmer's abilities and skill level at the first practice and provide feedback to the swimmer and parents at the end.
Swimmers that do not meet the requirements of the MIS swim team will be provided with alternative program options.
Holidays - No Practices:
There are no practices on the following dates. Additional closures may occur during the season and will be communicated by email.

- Thanksgiving - Mon Oct 9, 2023
- Christmas Break - Thu Dec 21, 2023 to Fri Jan 5, 2024
- Easter - Fri Mar 29, 2024 to Mon Apr 1, 2024
- Victoria Day - Sun May 19, 2024 to Mon May 20, 2024
Competitive swim team registrations include a non-refundable club fee of $384.83 + tax. This fee is only charged once per swimmer, regardless of the number of weekly practices selected. These fees include:
- Bathing Cap
- Team T-shirt
- Photos
- Competitive & Affiliation Fees
- Special Events
- and additional administrative costs
Competitive swimmers must sign up for a minimum of two weekly practices for the entire season.
Pricing:
- 2 practices/week: $1,255.53 + tax
- 3 practices/week: $1,411.85 + tax
- 4 practices/week: $1,527.76 + tax
- 5 practices/week: $1,624.88 + tax
The prices above do not include the club fee. Receive a $50.00 credit when you register before August 1, 2023. GST and QST are calculated at checkout. Monthly installments available.
Swimmer Requirements:
- 50m Freestyle
- 50m Backstroke
- 50m Breaststroke
- 50m Butterfly
All strokes performed with proper breathing and timing, see this video for approximate expectations.
